This 'How To Get And Install ANY Addon (Molten-WoW)' tutorial is made especially with Molten-WoW in mind, but supports every other 3.3.5 WoW server as well (both retail and private).
Requirements:
- Mac/PC that can run WoW
- WoW Installed
- Enough space on your hard drive (normally 0,1MB-30MB)
- An internet connection
- Go to Curse.com -> WoW Addons
- Choose an addon
- Click either 'WowAce.com' or 'Curseforge.com' (depending on the addon)
- Click 'File'
- Choose the correct version
- Download it
- Go to our 'Addons For 3.3.5'
- Click 'Download' next to any addon you want to download
- Decompress the .zip file (UnrarX (Mac) and/or StuffitExpander (PC)
- Move the folder to World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns (please read the end of the tutorial on crucial information concerning this phase)
Finding good addons worth downloading:
This one is easy, just go to our 'Addons For 3.3.5' page from the menu bar or click here. You can also go here for some addon reviews I have done or go here (Curse.com) and check out the most popular ones (you usually can't download the addons directly from there..).
If you find a good one on Curse.com first go to 'Other Downloads' and check if there is an older file of the addon that supports your game client version (in case you play on a private server that DOESN*T support the latest retail patch). If you can't find it there, chances are it might be elsewhere. In that case, just go to 'Development Site' and it will bring you either to CurseForge.com or to WoWAce.com
There you will be able to navigate to 'Files'
..and then choose the appropriate file (that supports your patch, 3.3.5)
..and download it.

How To Install
You must have downloaded the addons manually. Then go to 'Downloads' (or wherever your downloads usually go) and open them with UnrarX (Mac) and/or StuffitExpander (PC).
ATTENTION!!! Be sure to check the addon folders after decompressing; there might me one folder too much
(for example): QuestHelper 3.3.5 (folder)>QuestHelper (folder)>QuestHelperlua
(for example): QuestHelper 3.3.5 (folder)>QuestHelper (folder)>QuestHelperlua
![Game Game](/uploads/1/2/3/7/123702969/729608835.jpg)
In the first case, move ONLY the second folder to the Addons folder. Now, all that is left for you to do is to move the files to the World of Warcraft (folder)>Interface (folder)>Addons (folder) and you're done!

Unlike most other games, World of Warcraft has a pre-installed mod management system. Referred to as AddOns by the WoW modding community, Blizzard supports/permits mods that improve quality of life features, interface functions, and texture enhancements.
In this article we will be providing you with a comprehensive and easy to follow step by step guide. Not only will we be informing you on where to safely get the AddOns, but also how to correctly install them.
Please note, that if you are looking install mods that can give you an edge in PvP, or render you godlike, then the AddOns that can be downloaded from Curse are not for you. While Activation Blizzard might allow the use of AddOns in their online game, they do not support cheating. For this reason, it is highly inadvisable for anyone to consider using cheat mods as it can result in your account being suspended or Banned.
Where can I Download WoW AddOns From?
Most AddOns can be found at wow.curseforge.com. Using their search bar, type in the desired function of the AddOn. You can search for anything from damage counters, to in-game advice for boss battles, and class/role specific functions.
Read through the description and user reviews, to ensure that the AddOn meets your requirements. Some AddOns may have misleading/poorly chosen names that don’t correctly convey the AddOn’s true function.
Where are the AddOns Downloaded to?
After locating the desired AddOn(s) click the appropriate download button to download the zip-file.
Default settings will have all downloaded content stored in the Downloads File, easily accessible through file explorer and Quick Access.
How Do I Install WoW AddOns?
Opening the File Explorer in another window, locate where the World of Warcraft file has been installed. For the purposes of this article we will be using the default location:
Wow Addons Installieren 2018
- Opening the World of Warcraft file, you will notice two folders, one call Data, and the other is _retail_.
- Open the _retail_ folder, then the Interface folder, followed by the AddOns folder.
Move the downloaded zip file to the AddOns folder. This can make the next step easier, as there will not be a need to relocate the location of the unzipped files destination, and in the event of a stuff up, the zip file can be easily located.
- Right click on the zip file and select Extract Files. As the Zip File is already located in the desired destination, click the Extract button.
After the files have been extracted, double check that there are no nested folders (folders stored within folders), by right clicking the folder and selecting open in a new window. You will know if there are any nested folders by the absence of files along with the folder. If there are files present, more then likely, this is not a nested folder.
If nested a folder(s) is present, highlight all of the folders and move them back to the AddOns tab. Sales document header table. Remove the original unzipped file that should now be empty, and either delete or relocate the original Zipped File that you down loaded, to a secure folder. This will make re-installations simpler if something goes wrong, and avoids uses data limits, if your internet service has a cap on downloadable data limits.
How Do I Know if the AddOns Installed Correctly?
A WoW session that doesn’t have any AddOns installed, will only have two buttons located in the lower left corner of the character selection screen. If you have successfully installed your AddOns, there will be a new button called AddOns, see above image for details. If this button is absent, and you have installed the unzipped files in the correct folder location*, then you may need to double check for any nested folders.
*…World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns
Remember that if you open the folder, and find another folder by itself without any files on the same level, then you may have another nested folder. Some AddOns will still use sub-folders, but there will usually be files stored on the same level as this folder(s). Gta v real life mod.

- By StarymThere's a couple of relatively minor blue posts today detailing some bug fixes and clarifying a couple of details on original Vanilla Collector's Edition pets and Classic.
First off we have a fix to the WSG bug that allowed a particularly enterprising/exploitative druid player to not only instantly rez after being killed with the flag, but also then instantly teleport back to his faction base and deliver the flag, getting a point in the process. This has been happening for a few weeks now and today we got confirmation that it was a bug and that it's (probably) been fixed in the meantime:
WSG (source)
In a previous WSG, the score was 2-0 Horde/Alliance…the Horde as usual had a full compliment of players, whilst we had only eight. Towards the end, a mage and I were on a druid, I am sure if you are Alliance you have played against him. We killed him right outside the flag room. SOMEHOW he insta-reszzes at his base WITH the flag. Turns it in and the Horde win.
Either there is a huge bug that is not being listed here. Or someone is using hacks in beta.
- Betabebop
We’ve confirmed that this was a bug, and we believe we’ve fixed it in recent builds.
We then have some passive abomination problems, as the legendary Stitches has apparently decided to take it easy for a bit:
Stitches (source)
In the Classic beta, Stitches is neutral (yellow) but he should be aggressive (red) : _https://clips.twitch.tv/PerfectFlirtySheepBudBlast
Several sources show that it was not the case during Vanilla or even in TBC :
- Andycloud
FYI this is just a bug, and we’re working on fixing it. Stitches will behave as expected.
And finally it's on to a pretty specific issue where a person with a collector's edition of the original Vanilla WoW actually needs to be using that specific account to gain access to the pets gained with it in Classic, despite the new multiple-account-wide system we have today:
Vanilla Collector's Pets (source)
We hope you didn’t feel that you needed to spend $15 to check this.
You’ve basically got it right – the Collectors Edition pets do not behave in WoW Classic the same as they do in Battle for Azeroth. In Battle for Azeroth, pets are (Battle.net) account-wide, so access to them in one of your World of Warcraft accounts grants them to you across all of your World of Warcraft accounts.
In WoW Classic, it works the classic way: it only grants the CE pets to CE World of Warcraft accounts.
If you play WoW Classic on your “time capsule” account, you’ll get the CE pets. If you play WoW Classic on your account you started in Wrath of the Lich King, you won’t get the CE pets. - By StarymWe're back with the 'not a bug' list for the beta, as another entry fills the growing heap! This one's a weird one indeed, as better internet connections since 2006 are to blame. Apparently melee leeway is feeling a bit off for a lot of players, but the culprit is their low latency, which makes the distance you can move away from a mob before you're out of range feel much shorter.
Perhaps this one and the Tauren melee range can cancel each other out?
Melee Leeway (source)
I’ve updated the original post in this thread with:
“Melee leeway” is working as intended. After careful study and testing, we’ve found that for players with low latency, the state of melee leeway is how they would have experienced the game in 2006.
There are more people with low latency now than there were in 2006, so we expect for some it might feel different, but it is working as expected.
And since we're here, let's just look over the entire 'not a bug' list once more:
Not a Bug (source)
As we’ve discussed before, the nature of WoW Classic sometimes invokes different memories for different players, and this leads to certain misconceptions for some about what is or isn’t working as intended.
The following is a list of commonly-reported gameplay in WoW Classic that is not actually a bug, and is working as we expect it to:
Tauren’s hitboxes and their melee reach is slightly larger than other races. Being critically struck while using /sit to sit does not cause abilities like Enrage, Blood Craze, and Reckoning to activate. Using the “Automatic Quest Tracking” option does not auto-track newly accepted quests. (It instead will start to track an existing quest once progress towards an objective is started.) Warrior health Regeneration is working at the expected rate. Quests objectives and points of interests are not tracked on the map or minimap. Completed quests are marked on the minimap with a dot. (and not a “?”) Feared players and NPCs run fast. Standing on top of other players while facing away allows spells and attacks to be used. Creature respawn rates are much slower than in Battle for Azeroth. NPCs which offer multiple quests may inconsistently display them as a dot or a “!” on the available quests list. They were inconsistent in 1.12, and we’ve reproduced the exact inconsistency they had back then. Quests that are too low level for do not show up as a “!” in the game world. Available quests do not display a “!” on the minimap. On level up, the message: “Your skill in Protection increased to 15” was added in 1.12.1, and we’re intending to keep that. You are unable to Polymorph enemy targets that are tapped by players with whom you are not grouped. At all levels of player characters and enemies, aggro radius is set to the intended distance. Long quest objectives don’t have text wrapping. Fall damage is equivalent to expected and verified values. Broadcast text can be seen multiple times if multiple players interact with the same NPC. WANTED signs do not have “!”, and are also not highlighted. Player characters do not animate when looting/interacting with quest objects (e.g. collecting pumpkins). Gnomes and Taurens are the correct size. “Melee leeway” is working as intended. We appreciate all of your feedback! - By StarymBlizzard have just announced the Classic Beta will be ending next Friday, July 12th! In addition to thanking everyone for participating and revealing a lot of bugs and issues, they've also set the date for a post-beta final stress test taking place from July 25th t the 26th. The end of the actual beta next week will also have a special event so if you're on the beta, make sure to check that out!
Classic Beta (source)
Thank you very much to everyone who’ve helped test the closed beta for WoW Classic. Over the last seven weeks, we have reviewed over 17000 bug reports from testers. These led to our verification of hundreds of new and unique bugs. Your efforts have directly contributed to making WoW Classic a better experience for everyone when it opens to the world on August 27.
We have now reached a stage where WoW Classic is in a good state for reconciling remaining issues, and we intend to shift our focus away from the closed beta, which will end on July 12.
Internally, we’re working through the aforementioned bug fixes, testing the high-level zones such as Eastern Plaguelands, and doing our raid testing. We’ll make sure Ragnaros and Onyxia are ready to go.
As for what’s next, the final stress test is now coming up on July 25-26 (we’ve changed this date since we first announced it). During that global test, we will roll out our multi-region hardware in preparation for the worldwide release of WoW Classic. In addition to getting many more testers to play through the initial leveling experiences, it will be a test of the fixes and tweaks that we’ve made and are making to the game.
We’re planning a small in-game event to end the closed beta on July 12. We’ll see you there, and we’ll post reminders for you just before the stress test, as well as reminders in August as we gather for name reservations and ultimately for the release of WoW Classic.
Thank you!
There's a special event coming for the beta end and we get a final stress test at the end of the month. - By StanBlizzard initially said there were no plans to separate realms by language with the exception of Russian, but today, they announced the addition of French and German language realms available at launch.
In EU, we will have English, French, German, and Russian language realms. We still don't have any details regarding US servers, but it's probably going to be very similar and include Spanish realms.
Blizzard (Source)
After further review and consideration of your feedback, we will launch WoW Classic in the European region with French and German realms, in addition to the expected English and Russian realms. This will allow WoW Classic players in Europe who wish to communicate with others in French or German to start in those languages from day one.
We really appreciate the high degree of interest and passionate feedback we’ve seen on this subject for the last few days. Our plan is to have English, French, German, and Russian language realms designated in the final stress test. While we haven’t yet finalized the numbers of realms and realm types for each language, we’ll let you know those details before name reservations start on August 13.
Thank you very much! Vielen Dank! Merci beaucoup! - By StanOur Classic guide section has been updated with the Mage guide, bringing the total amount of our Classic guides up to four.
